Platte River and its employees contribute time and money to improve the lives of others.

• Platte River participates each year in the United Way of Larimer County's Pacesetter Challenge--a friendly fundraising competition where employees pledge to contribute to United Way through regular payroll deductions.
• Platte River is also a member of the Business Cares Program where United Way works with companies to develop and support excellence in their volunteer programs and engage their employees in meaningful community service.
• Through its membership in Business Cards, Platte River employees and family members come together during National Volunteer Week in April and on National Make a Difference Day in October to complete projects benefitting local non-profit organizations.
• Platte River participates in the Food Bank for Larimer County's annual Corporate Food Drive Challenge. During the Challenge, employees donate cash and non-perishable food items.
